

The Education Division is responsible for the overall operation of educational programs of the Laboratory Medicine Foundation. It develops curricula by target audience and topic, and systematically manages education from planning to implementation and evaluation. In addition, by continuously reviewing and improving educational programs based on feedback from trainees and educators, expert consultation, and best practices in education, the division contributes to strengthening professionalism in laboratory medicine and improving laboratory quality.
This workshop focuses on discipline-specific checklists developed for Outstanding Laboratory Certification, analyzes the previous year's inspection results, and provides preparation points and reference information for insufficient items. By introducing and explaining revised requirements, the workshop helps participants from each institution prepare more systematically for certification inspection. It also contributes to improving practical competence in laboratory medicine by enhancing understanding of background knowledge related to the requirements.
This education workshop is designed for certification inspection team leaders and inspectors to improve the knowledge and practical skills required for certification inspection. It is organized around the basic principles and procedures of inspection and the practical content needed to perform inspections, helping participants strengthen inspection competence.
This workshop introduces the laboratory certification inspection system implemented by the Laboratory Medicine Foundation and provides education on general matters related to certification inspection and content needed for laboratory quality improvement. Through this program, the Foundation seeks to increase residents' understanding of the certification inspection system and strengthen their basic competence in laboratory operation and quality management.
This education program is designed to equip participants with the competencies needed to successfully perform the role of inspection team leader. It presents specific considerations for the actual inspection process by dividing them into before, during, and after inspection, and aims to improve consistency and fairness in inspection. The program covers inspection team leader registration and inspection methods, inspection systems and principles, inspection program operation, inspection performance procedures, and the qualities required of inspection team leaders.
