Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 (Name)
The name of the corporation shall be the Laboratory Medicine Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation), and its English name shall be Laboratory Medicine Foundation (abbreviated in English as LMF).
Article 2 (Purpose)
The purpose of the Foundation is to contribute to improving public health by enabling accurate and standardized test results to be generated in laboratory medicine laboratories through systematic and comprehensive quality assessment and standardization activities in the field of laboratory medicine.
Article 3 (Office)
The principal office of the Foundation shall be located at Room 505, Building A, Centreville Asterium Seoul, 372 Hangang-daero, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and branch offices may be established by resolution of the Board of Directors if necessary. <Amended 2014. 08. 20>
Article 4 (Business)
To achieve the purpose set forth in Article 2, the Foundation shall conduct the following businesses.
Laboratory certification programs for quality assessment in laboratory medicine.
Standardization programs for quality assessment in laboratory medicine.
Quality assessment programs for laboratory medicine medical equipment.
Programs to improve accuracy and precision for quality assessment in laboratory medicine.
Education and research programs for quality assessment in laboratory medicine.
New health technology assessment programs for quality assessment in laboratory medicine.
International cooperation programs for quality assessment in laboratory medicine.
Rental revenue business to finance expenses for the Foundation's purpose programs. <Amended 2014. 08. 20>
Other businesses necessary to achieve the Foundation's purposes.
Terms of Use for Digital Content
Institutional members are institutions participating in the LMF certification program that have entered into a service agreement with the foundation and received user IDs. Individual members are users who have registered with LMF and may use information and services provided by the foundation.
These terms define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of LMF and users regarding online digital content and related services. LMF provides information on service terms, contact details, and important conditions so users can review them before using the service.
Unauthorized Collection of E-mail Addresses Prohibited
LMF prohibits unauthorized collection of e-mail addresses posted on this website.
E-mail addresses may not be collected using e-mail harvesting programs or other technical devices without permission.
Privacy Policy
LMF values members' personal information and manages personal information for membership, service applications, education, certification-related services, communication, and user support.
Collected information may include name, date of birth, login ID, password, e-mail address, license number, telephone number, fax number, address, affiliation, department, position, training institution, inspection fields, inspection regions, payment account information, access logs, cookies, and IP information as required for the service.
LMF retains personal information only for the period necessary to achieve the stated purposes or as required by law. Users may request access, correction, or withdrawal by contacting the LMF office.
