Committee Introduction

The Evaluation Committee objectively evaluates the quality of testing and operational level of medical institutions in Korea and supports improvement of test reliability and management systems.
Through the Outstanding Laboratory Accreditation Program and referral medical laboratory inspection, the committee aims to establish standardized testing systems and improve patient safety.

Operation of the Outstanding Laboratory Accreditation assessment system.
Receipt of accreditation inspection applications, review of results, and referral to the Laboratory Accreditation Committee.
Assignment of on-site inspection team leaders and management of inspectors.
Receipt and review of accreditation inspection appeals and referral to committees.
Granting provisional accreditation when specialized referral medical institutions open.
Operation of referral testing inspection teams.
Operation and management of Comprehensive Verification.
Calculation of laboratory test quality incentives.
Assignment of resident observer institutions for accreditation inspection.
